My first ride on a Black Hawk. As you look at the photos you can see the destruction of a beautiful area,
in particular a 400 year old bridge that was utterly destroyed. However, the determination of the people
of Mostar will see the rebuilding of the bridge stone by stone. When you enlarge the photos you can see
how the mortars and RPGs (rocket propelled grenades) devasted the neighborhoods.
The last photo is the staff of a communications post and a woman who lost her home in the war. We were
working with NGOs (non-government organizations) to rebuild the homes of those who lost everything in
the conflict.
